Part of

The Lion King Collection

The film franchise mainly revolves about a pride of lions who oversee a large swath of African savanna as their «kingdom» known as the Pride Lands, with their leader Simba watching over it as «king». If the first is Hamlet with lions then this one is Romeo & Juliet with lions. And if the first is a great kids' movie then this one is a passable kids' movie. Final rating:★★ - Had some things that appeal to me, but a poor finished product.
