Trivia

Things worth knowing

• 135 years old — old enough to be someone's favourite childhood film.
• 2Part of the "The Omen Collection" — so the characters or world continue elsewhere.
• 3Directed by Jorge Montesi, shot by Martin Fuhrer. Note their partnership — DPs and directors often return to each other across a career.
• 4Original score by Jonathan Sheffer. Worth a dedicated listen after — most great films lose half their impact without the score.
• 5Editor Bruce Giesbrecht shaped the rhythm. On an edit-heavy film, the editor does more to control your pulse than the director.
• 6Faye Grant and Michael Woods and Michael Lerner carry the top of the cast.
• 7Marketing tagline: "Damien's prophecy is reborn!".
• 8IMDB entry: tt0102585 — still the authoritative cross-reference for credits and trivia.
• 9Classified under 13 themes, including "prophecy", "politics", "halloween", "sequel".
• 10Released under 12 different titles around the world.

What people are saying

• JPV8522019-10-12
  ★ 5/10

Pretty bland movie that can't even offer any gnarly kills due to it being a TV movie. Harmless but unnecessary "sequel". 2.25/5
