Trivia
Part of
It was the dawn of the Third Age of Mankind, ten years after the Earth-Minbari War. The Babylon Project was a dream given form. Its goal: to prevent another war by creating a place where Humans and aliens could work out their differences peacefully. It's a port of call โ home away from home for diplomats, hustlers, entrepreneurs, and wanderers. Humans and aliens wrapped in two million, five-hundred thousand tons of spinning metal, all alone in the night. It can be a dangerous place, but it's our last best hope for peace. This is the story of the last of the Babylon stations. The year is 2258. The name of the place is Babylon 5.

Babylon V The Road Home offers up an enjoyable nostalgia trip, for fans of the original 90's series. As a big BV fan I really enjoyed this animated romp into the sci fi world of this series. It offered a new, fresh take on what had gone before and was, for the most part, entertaining. It would have been nice to see a live film but given the actors have aged substantially and some are no longer with us, I can see why an animated production, with voice overs from actors from the original series, was utilised. My only criticism, is this film doesn't really offer a lot by way of back story. For those new to the franchise, many no doubt born after the series took place, it may be a little hard to follow, at times. In summary, nice to see BV back in any form. It was and is, a great series that's been much missed, by fans like myself.
