The army of the Marauders, led by King Terak and the witch Charal, attack the Ewoks village, killing Cindel's family. Cindel and the Ewok Wicket escape and meet Teek in the forest, a naughty and very fast animal. Teek takes them to a house in which an old man, Noa, lives. Like Cindel, he also crashed with his Starcruiser on Endor. Together they fight Terak and Charal.

Part of

Star Wars: The Ewok Adventures Collection

The Ewok Adventures is a 1984 American made-for-TV film duology based in the Star Wars setting. It was released theatrically in Europe as Caravan of Courage: An Ewok Adventure, and is known by that title today. The film focuses on the struggles of a brother and sister, stranded on the forest moon of Endor, in locating their parents, who have been kidnapped by a monster known as the Gorax. The film is set sometime between the fifth and sixth episodes of the Star Wars saga. It is the first of two spin-off films featuring the Ewoks from Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. A sequel to this movie released in 1985. While the sequel's working title was simply Ewoks II, it was released as Ewoks: The Battle for Endor.

There's nothing I like about it, but it at least betters <em>'The Ewok Adventure'</em>. <em>'Ewoks: The Battle for Endor'</em> makes for a boring watch, despite some attempt at action and even a minute amount of heart at the conclusion. Overall, it's not good enough... but there isn't anything I hated or anything, I just won't remember it for all that long after viewing.

Not like this When I saw the Ewok Adventures (Caravan of Courage) I was dismayed at the lack of articulation in the Ewoks' expression. This has been remedied in this movie, in the worst way possible. The chin just unhinges like a cartoon character. It looks awful. When I saw the Ewok Adventure I disliked the proportion at which screen time was divided between characters. This has been remedied in this movie, in the worst way possible. They just killed off everyone but one of the main characters. So the poster is even a blatant lie. When I saw the Ewok Adventure I disliked the narrator. He did a good job, but it was not for a Star Wars movie. This movie remedies that, and the movie is worse for it. The action lims along, and is just sad at part. This is not a good movie. It is a kids' movie even more so than the Ewok Adventure, but it has airs of trying to be a fairytale with scary monsters and villains. And it just falls flat.
