Trivia

Things worth knowing

• 2Released 10 years ago.
• 3Dialogue crosses 3 languages: Russian, Ukrainian, English.
• 4International production across 4 countries: United Kingdom, United States of America, Russia, Ukraine.
• 5Directed by Steven Cantor, shot by Mark Wolf. Note their partnership — DPs and directors often return to each other across a career.
• 6Original score by Ilan Eshkeri. Worth a dedicated listen after — most great films lose half their impact without the score.
• 7Editor Federico Rosenzvit shaped the rhythm. On an edit-heavy film, the editor does more to control your pulse than the director.
• 8Sergei Polunin and Jade Hale-Christofi and Galyna Polunina carry the top of the cast.
• 9Marketing tagline: "Icon. Genius. Rebel".
• 10IMDB entry: tt5097070 — still the authoritative cross-reference for credits and trivia.
• 11Only 75 TMDB ratings — you're getting ahead of the curve on this one.
