Tight 75-minute runtime — shorter than most television pilots.

Kemal, a novelist, visits his cousins Aslı and Derya—who live together—in a small Anatolian town where he has arrived for a book signing. Delighted by this family reunion, the cousins set out to prepare "kapama," a traditional family dish they haven't made together in a long time. What initially appears to be an ordinary family gathering unfolds amidst old grievances, family disputes over inheritance, gossip, and the trivial matters of daily life. However, once the meal is in the oven, traces of a heavy, long-buried trauma from the three cousins' shared past gradually begin to surface.
“Some stories are better left unspoiled.”
