Trivia

Things worth knowing

• 1Released last year.
• 2Directed by Neil Burger, shot by Jackson Hunt. Note their partnership — DPs and directors often return to each other across a career.
• 3Original score by Paul Leonard-Morgan. Worth a dedicated listen after — most great films lose half their impact without the score.
• 4Editor Nick Carew shaped the rhythm. On an edit-heavy film, the editor does more to control your pulse than the director.
• 5Phoebe Dynevor and Rhys Ifans and Ciara Baxendale carry the top of the cast.
• 6Marketing tagline: "Who are you spying on?".
• 7IMDB entry: tt31050620 — still the authoritative cross-reference for credits and trivia.
• 8Only 93 TMDB ratings — you're getting ahead of the curve on this one.
• 9Classified under 12 themes, including "espionage", "identity", "spy", "revelation".

FULL SPOILER-FREE REVIEW @ https://movieswetextedabout.com/inheritance-review-phoebe-dynevor-shines-amid-the-challenges-of-guerrilla-filmmaking/ "Inheritance shines through its impromptu filming style and the strength of its lead performances but falls short narratively. Neil Burger pushes the boundaries of traditional filmmaking, proving that creativity and technical skill can overcome any financial limitations. Phoebe Dynevor once again demonstrates her immense talent with a performance that is, above all, confident and assured. For those who value the art of cinema and the risk of experimentation, I recommend giving it a watch." Rating: B-
